SOLUTION: In the illumination light incoming part of the endoscope, in which the metallic glass rod coating tube 7a is fitted and fixed to a glass rod 7 mounted opposite to the light incoming side surface of a light guide fiber bundle 6 for transmitting a light beam bundle radiated from a light source to the light guide fiber bundle 6, and the metallic glass rod coating tube 7a is formed of a titanium pipe material.
