PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plywood, in which a colored part is provided and which has the color constitution comprising the early wood part of wood, its late wood part and its colored part on the surface of a product by executing raising on a surface layer, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: By employing a veneer with the thickness of 0.7-3.0 mm as a surface layer veneer, the surface layer veneer is laminated in parallel to a second layer veneer. The colored part is obtained by coloring a bonding layer or by coating dye on the rear face of the surface layer veneer. At the manufacturing of the plywood, its pressing temperature is set to be 0-40°C and its pressure is set to be 5-10 kg/cm2, which is lower than the pressure employed at the normal manufacturing of plywood. By scraping down the surface of this plywood with brushes or by blasting, the raised plywood with plentiful color constitution is obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
