Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tensioner which uses a turn buckle of a shape memory alloy, and also to provide an axial force introduction method of a rod. SOLUTION: The turn buckle is provided with female screw hole 5, 6 at both ends, and a turn bulk body 4 is made of a shape memory alloy and has a shape memory effect in the longitudinal direction of a member. A first rod 2 and a second rod 3 have the connection part 8 at one end and male screw shaft parts 9, 10 at the other end, and the female screw parts are screwed into both ends of the turn buckle 1 of the shape memory alloy. Part of or the whole of the first rod and/or the second rod is provided with the shape memory effect in the longitudinal direction of the member. One end side of the rods 2, 3 is heated in the engaged condition with a structure, the turn buckle 1 of the shape memory alloy is shortened and the axial force is introduced so that the rod 2, 3 is made to approach each other.
