Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member capable of improving sealing performance and reducing assembling man-hours. SOLUTION: The seal member 4 for sealing between an injector 3 inserted into a fastening structure to be supported where a cylinder head cover 1 is fastened by a bolt 5 with respect to a cylinder head 2 of an engine and a through-hole 1a of the cylinder head cover is provided with a base plate part 6 equipped with an injector through-hole part 62 and a bolt washer part 61 formed on and in the vicinity of the through-hole of the cylinder head cover and corresponding to a bolt insertion hole 1b for the bolt, and an elastic sealing part 7 fixed on an inner peripheral end part of the injector through-hole part in the base plate part and elastically abutted on a peripheral body 3a of the injector. Fastening and fixing to the cylinder head cover can be achieved through the bolt washer part of the base plate part by the bolt. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
