Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the channel scanning time of a tuner by shortening the lock-up time by optimizing the tuning order of a channel scan. SOLUTION: A broadcast signal receiver comprises: a tuner unit 1; an oscillation unit 14 which is divided into a plurality of oscillation bands and generates the oscillation signal of an oscillation frequency, corresponding to a tuning channel by varying a tuning voltage for each oscillation band; and a host 4 that switches the tuning voltage to be applied to the oscillation unit 14, to continuously switch the tuning channel, wherein a channel scan is performed by sequentially switching the tuning channel so that the change amount of the tuning voltage in switching the tuning channel becomes smaller than a voltage difference between the tuning voltage in tuning a minimum channel included in the oscillation bands and a tuning voltage in tuning a maximum channel.
