Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency heater which is arranged so that improvement in the heating efficiency and suppression of the uneven heating of a heated object are realized, by forming an antenna into a shape and a structure which allow high frequency oscillated by a high frequency oscillator, so as to be capable of propagation to a heating chamber, equally and over a wide range. SOLUTION: The high frequency heater includes the heating chamber 1 that houses the heated object therein; the high frequency oscillator 2 that oscillates high frequency, in order to heat the heated object; a waveguide 3 that is connected to the heating chamber and guides the high frequency oscillated by the high-frequency oscillator to the heating chamber; and the antenna 4 that propagates the high frequency propagated in the waveguide to the heating chamber. The antenna includes an antenna flat plate 20, that emits the high frequency to the heating chamber side; loop-like conductive route parts A21, B22 that are branched into two parts and connected to the antenna flat plate; a power feed shaft 23 that is connected to the conductive route part and positioned in the waveguide; and an antenna-fixing means 5, that fixes the antenna in an antenna chamber 14 provided at a bottom part of the heating chamber.
