PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide emission measurement system for grasping an amount of carbon dioxide emission in transportation, which is hard to be quantified, so as to contribute to environmental preservation. SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide emission measurement system is constructed so that a transport point terminal is constituted so as to transmit vehicle number information read by a number plate reading means of the transport point terminal and transport point information acquired by a transport point acquisition means to a server through a telecommunication line, the server stores vehicle relevant information regarding a vehicle to which a vehicle number is attached, the vehicle number information and the transport point information received from the transport point terminal by a storage means, acquires travel distance from pieces of the transport point information on a departure place and an arrival place for a desired vehicle number, acquires cargo weight from the vehicle relevant information of a vehicle to which the desired number is attached, and calculates the amount of carbon dioxide emission based on the travel distance and the cargo weight by an operation means.
