Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency of passing a grommet inside a back door. SOLUTION: The grommet 10 for the back door, locked into a body-side through-hole at one end and into a door through-hole at the other end, is integrally formed of rubber or elastomer. The grommet includes: a pair of large-diameter sleeve members 11, 12 at both longitudinal ends, which are internally fit into the body-side through-hole and the door through-hole, respectively; small-diameter sleeve members 13, 14 bending to follow the large-diameter sleeve members at both ends; and a bellows-like tubular member 15 running with crests and troughs alternately provided between the small-diameter sleeve members, with the crests on the bellows-like tubular member being larger in outside diameter than the small-diameter sleeve members, wherein the bending small-diameter sleeve member following the large-diameter sleeve member on the body side is provided with ribs 18 circumferentially projecting like crests longitudinally spaced on an outer surface serving as the circumferential side in the bending direction such that, when the grommet is passed through the back door between its inner and outer panels, the top 18a of the crest of each rib comes in point contact with the panel surface.
