Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel capable of shortening an address discharge delay time. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel includes: a first substrate and second substrate separately arranged so as to face to each other; a barrier rib arranged between both of the substrates for partitioning a discharge cell; a phosphor layer formed in the discharge cell; a plurality of address electrodes extended on the first substrate in a first direction and arranged in parallel to a second direction which intersects with the first direction; a plurality of first electrodes and second electrodes extended on the second substrate in the second direction, arranged in parallel to the first direction with each other, and intersecting with the plurality of address electrodes; a protection film formed in a discharge region between the first electrode and second electrode in the discharge cell; and an exoelectron emission layer formed outside the discharge region.
