Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery voltage calculation apparatus can obtain an accurate battery voltage without increasing a load on detection processing to detect the battery voltage. SOLUTION: The battery voltage calculation apparatus calculates the battery voltage of a batter, at a fuel injection time (a desired point of time), which is charged with electrical power generated by the torque of a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine; it detects the battery voltage at predetermined intervals and, based on its detection result VB and a crank angle corresponding to the desired point of time, calculates the battery voltage VBCR at the fuel injection time. This allows an invalid injection time tv from output of an injection command signal until fuel injection is actually started to be accurately calculated, thereby enabling accurate control of the amount of fuel injection.
