Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress a write error and a read error due to influence of flatter. SOLUTION: Magnetic disks in a HDD 100 are constituted of magnetic disks (thick magnetic disk 16A, thin magnetic disks 16B, 16C) of two kinds or more having different thickness. Thereby, the occurrence of flatter in a disk device can be effectively reduced by setting thickness of the magnetic disk 16A present at a large NRRO (especially flatter component) position to be thick, and a write error and a read error due to respective heads 18A1to 18C2can be effectively suppressed. In this case, when magnetic disks of two sheets or more are present, effective suppression of errors can be performed independently of the number of sheets. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
