Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain accurate correction information considering the effect of a light source in an imaging device which takes as correction information a difference between a focusing position by a phase difference detection system and a focusing position by a contrast detection system. SOLUTION: The imaging device 200 includes first focus detection means 204, 205 and 223 which determine a first movement quantity of a focus lens 101b to the focusing position by the phase difference detection system; a second focus detection means 223 which detects the focusing position of the focus lens by the contrast detection system; a correction information generation means 223 which generates correction information for the first movement quantity according to the difference between the focusing position obtained using the first focus detection means and the focus position obtained using the second focus detection means; and a light source detection means 207 which detects information for the light source. The correction information generation means switches whether to make the correction information usable or not according to the information for the light source. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
