Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize adequate idling stop of an idling-stop vehicle which has a starting clutch on the output side of a continuously variable transmission device, without giving an unnatural rushing feel at restarting. SOLUTION: An idling stop control part 43 outputs a signal to a transmission control part 42 to release a forward clutch 25 when the vehicle is almost stopped and preset idling stop conditions are established, changes the speed ratio of the continuously variable transmission device into a pulley ratio γISS higher than the lowest pulley ratio γ1, e.g., for normal starting acceleration, and then outputs a signal to an engine control part 41 to stop an engine 1. It outputs a signal to the engine control part 41 to restart the engine 1 after the preset conditions are established, while the transmission control part 42 quickly fastens the forward clutch 25 in synchronization. When a vehicle speed V exceeds a preset threshold value or an idling switch 53 is turned OFF, the speed ratio is changed into the pulley ratio γ1 for normal starting acceleration.
