Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag-fuming method where, in a slag-fuming method in which, while charging slag containing zinc, lead, arsenic and a halogen group element produced from a refining furnace in zinc and/or lead refining, and a copper source inside a fuming furnace, so as to form a fused body, zinc and lead are volatilized to separate by fuming, energy cost is reduced under the high volatilizing speed of zinc, and also, zinc lead-containing dust in which the content of a halogen group element is reduced can be obtained. SOLUTION: Upon the above fuming, a carbonaceous reducing agent and limestone are added to the inside of a furnace, and further, the air in an amount sufficient for burning the surplus reducing agent is fed into a vapor phase part within the furnace, so as to prevent the reduction of slag temperature.
