Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device, in which no fear of the breakage of a stacking part seated with delivered media to be recorded is developed when the main body of the recording device moves. SOLUTION: The recording device 1 is equipped with a recording part 4 for executing the recording to the media P to be recorded and a stacking part 20, on which the media P to be recorded delivered from the recording part 4 is seated when taking its second position, and which can take a first position or a second position by pivoting around a pivoting shaft 22. When the free end side 23 of the stacking part 20 under its second position is thrust against a surface T confronting with the recording device 1, a force F for pivoting the stacking part 20 to its first position side is generated.
