Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film manufacturing method, with a film prevented from breaking during its manufacture, by controlling the thickness profile of a film end part (edge) as to each of films having average reflectivity of 90% or higher. SOLUTION: The film is a thermoplastic resin film having average reflectivity of 90% or higher. This manufacturing method for the resin film includes a process for controlling the thickness profile of the film end part through thickness measurement on the end part, by measuring the distances to the film by using displacement sensors from the front and rear faces of the film.
