Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of precluding occurrence of trouble, for example a paper sheet holder is set off from the device body, for example from a top cover etc. SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with an ejecting roller 21, a pinch roller 23, and the paper sheet holder 25 in such an arrangement that the sheet holder 25 when the sheet holder 25 is swung downward by an external force, comes in contact with the pinch roller 23 prior to the ejecting roller 21. When an external force F is applied to the sheet holder 25, the sheet holder 25 contacts with the pinch roller 23, and the external force F is absorbed by the elastic deformation of a coil spring 23C which presses the pinch roller 23, so that it is possible to preclude the occurrence of the trouble, for example the sheet holder 25 is set off from the top cover 9 to constitute the device body.
