Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a varnish treatment method which can eliminate a trimming process by impregnating a necessary amount of varnish into a slot, and a varnish treatment device. SOLUTION: In the varnish treatment method which suppresses overflow of varnish, when the varnish which hardens is fed to a lead-side coil end 10a and an anti-lead side coil end 10b inside the slot 11a of a stator core 11, having a U-phase 12U, a V-phase 12V and a W-phase 12W, varnish-impregnated states in the slot 11a corresponding to the U-phase 12U, the V-phase 12V and the W-phase 12W of the stator core 11 are measured, and varnish feed amounts to the phases are adjusted, according to measurement results of the varnish-impregnated states.
