PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance management system of a gas detector which can easily and surely specify a gas detector equipped with a sensor that has to be replaced or the like, easily update management information, for example, after sensor replacement work without intervention of artificial mistake, obtain a database having high reliability and surely perform desired maintenance management, and a gas detector which can surely keep an operating state in an expected state. SOLUTION: The maintenance management system performs maintenance management of a gas detector to which the same or different type sensor is attached in an exchangeable way on the basis of combination information obtained by mutually associating detector information unique to a gas detector body, which is acquired by an identifying means provided in the gas detector body and each of sensors with sensor information unique to the sensor.
