PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinball game machine capable of correctly detecting the opened/closed state of a transparent plate holder frame if a mechanical board is warped backward or a detection switch is displaced backward from the initial attached position. SOLUTION: The pinball game machine includes an inner frame 3, the transparent plate holder frame 8 openably/closably attached to the front face of the inner frame 3, and the mechanical board 16 attached to the rear face of the inner frame 3. An opening/closing motion detecting device A is disposed to detect the opening/closing motion of the transparent plate holder frame 8. The opening/closing motion detecting device A is composed of: a detection bar 22 always biased by a main elastic member 34 to project forward from the front face of the inner frame 3; and a detection switch 23 for detecting the opening/closing motion of the transparent plate holder frame 8 as the detection bar 22 attached to the mechanical board 16 pushes or separates. A subordinate elastic member 29 is attached to the rear end of the detection bar 22, and the natural length of the subordinate elastic member 29 is set, so that a subordinate elastic member 34 pushes a detection part 23a of the detection switch 23 even if the detection switch 23 is displaced backward while the transparent plate holder frame 8 is closed.
