Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new anti-Influenza virus agent that has an excellent anti-Influenza virus activity and high possibility of practical application and a method for producing the active ingredient of the anti-Influenza virus agent. SOLUTION: The anti-Influenza virus agent includes a protein fraction derived from a mammalian colostrum as an active ingredient. The method for producing a protein fraction derived from a mammalian colostrum having anti-Influenza virus activity includes at least a process for extracting a mammalian colostrum or a raw material derived from a mammalian colostrum with a mixed solution of chloroform/methanol to give an oligosaccharide fraction and fractionating the oligosaccharide fraction by a gel filtration chromatography to give a protein fraction.
