Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform switching without bending a lightweight flipper 7 by the deadweight, in an image forming device in which the flipper 7 for route switching is vertically swingably provided in a branch part of a paper carrying route 2. SOLUTION: When the flipper 7 is swung upwardly to switch the paper carrying route 2 to the lower side, a rotating shaft 8 is rotated by force F3 of a solenoid 11 applied to the direction opposite to that of force F2 even after regulation by a stopper 25, so that the force F2 larger than force F1 by the deadweight of the flipper 7 to bend the flipper 7 downwardly and applied to the direction to bend the flipper 7 upwardly is generated in the flipper 7.
