Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunroof mounting structure not taking a large vehicle space and not increasing cost and weight of the vehicle against the fact that a level difference is generated between a roof panel and a sunroof glass pane caused by difference of thermal expansion, and an appearance and a water-tight property of the sunroof glass pane are degraded. SOLUTION: The sunroof mounting structure is provided with: the roof panel 15 having a roof opening part 15A; a sunroof reinforcement 7 at an inner peripheral edge part of the roof opening part 15A; a sunroof unit 10 for supporting the sunroof glass pane 21; and brackets 11, 13 for mounting the sunroof unit 10 to the sunroof reinforcement 7. The roof panel 15, the sunroof reinforcement 7, the sunroof unit 10, and the brackets 11, 13 have linear expansion coefficient larger than that of the roof side rail, the bracket 13 is formed in an approximately reverse hat shape cross section in side view, and an abutment plate 26 comprising a material having a smaller linear expansion coefficient than the bracket 13 is surface-joined to a central side vertical wall 13D of the bracket 13.
