Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and swiftly perform the treatment for sewage generated by the removal of floor wax at a working site. SOLUTION: Regarding the treatment method for sewage generated by the removal of floor wax, alginic acid or the salt thereof (such as sodium alginate) is dissolved into sewage generated by the removal of floor wax, a calcium salt generating calcium ions is acted thereon, solid matter dissolved into the sewage generated by the removal of floor wax is separated, and the separated liquid part (with alkalinity) is neutralized with an inorganic acid such as hydrochloric acid, thus the sewage generated by the removal of floor wax is swiftly treated at a working site. Further, in the case the neutralization reaction passes through, and the liquid part becomes acid, this is neutralized with a carbonate using a foaming phenomenon disappearing as an indicator of completion of the neutralization.
