Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently screening a desired nucleic acid aptamer. SOLUTION: The screening method includes mixing a target molecule with a first nucleic acid mixture containing a plurality kinds of candidate nucleic acid fragments thereby to bring the target molecule into contact with the candidate nucleic acid fragment to form their composite, removing the candidate nucleic acid fragment which has not formed the composite, subsequently causing the candidate nucleic acid fragment to dissociate from the composite, fractionating a second nucleic acid mixture enriched with the candidate nucleic acid fragment having high affinity to the target molecule, amplifying the candidate nucleic acid fragment contained in the second nucleic acid mixture, determining the base arrangement of the candidate nucleic acid fragment group contained in a third nucleic acid mixture containing the amplified candidate nucleic acid fragment, re-designing the candidate nucleic acid fragment based on the result to prepare a novel nucleic acid mixture, and screening again the highly affinitive candidate nucleic acid fragment using the mixture.
