Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire connection device 11 for enhancing reliability of wire connection even with downsizing attained. SOLUTION: A conductive terminal 16, arranged along a wire insertion direction inside a wire insertion port 22 of a body 12, includes a conductive retainer 17 having a spring force in a direction of pinching the wire 21 together with the conductive terminal 16. An auxiliary spring 18 is provided in overlapping inside the conductive holder 17. By providing the auxiliary spring 18 in overlapping on the conductive retainer 17, the spring force of the conductive retainer 17 and that of the auxiliary spring 18 are synthesized to gain large spring force.
