PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer light-emitting element having high luminous efficiency and long life, which has a large emission surface per element, a polymer light-emitting display, a plane light source, and a method of manufacturing the polymer light-emitting element. SOLUTION: The polymer light-emitting element comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light-emitting layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode and containing a polymer compound, is characterized in that the second electrode is composed of three layers, namely a first layer, a second layer and a third layer sequentially arranged from the light-emitting layer side, and at least one of the materials contained in the second layer has a reducing effect on at least one of the materials contained in the first layer.
