Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively perform voltage variation suppression and to prevent current voltage constant control function necessary for power conversion equipment from being damaged by making effective current also usable for voltage variation suppression control as regards the power conversion equipment used for voltage variation suppression of a system. SOLUTION: The power conversion equipment 1 is provided with a power converter, a first current detector 5 for detecting output current of the power converter, a second current detector 7 for detecting load current at an interconnection point to the system of the power converter, a voltage detector 6 for detecting voltage at the interconnection point, a current command value generation system 10 for generating current command values 16 and 17 on the basis of the current signal 7s of the second current detector and the voltage signal 6s of the voltage detector, and a current control system 23 for controlling the power converter so as to make a current feedback value obtained from a current signal 5s by the first current detector coincide with the current command values, and is further provided with a compensation system 30 for calculating a compensation value 34 on the basis of the current signal 7s and the voltage signal 6s, and compensating the current command values with the compensation value.
