Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured fuel-injection valve for increasing injection pressure through the use of fuel as hydraulic oil. SOLUTION: A pressure intensifier is provided with a pressurization piston 106, a first fuel chamber 107 communicating with a fuel inlet path 101 of a fuel supply path, and a pressurization chamber 111 for pressurizing the fuel. The pressurization chamber 111 is structured inside a valve element 110. The pressurization piston 106 is provided so as to be displaceable relatively to the valve element 110. A first pressure-receiving face 106a facing to the inside of the first fuel chamber 107 is formed in one end in the drive-shaft direction 106d of the pressurization piston 106; in the other end of the pressurization piston part 106, a pressure-intensifying piston part 106b is provided which faces the inside of the pressurization chamber 111 in a smaller area than that of the first pressure-receiving face 106a, and varies the capacity of the pressurization chamber 111.
