PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tape used for fastening a front body section to a back body section of a diaper, preventing easy peeling of a base material and a hook material, preventing the easy occurrence of warp and waving at a joining part between the base material and the hook material, and capable of improving the wearing property of the diaper. SOLUTION: The fastening tape 10 is used for fastening the front body section to the back body section of the diaper, and has the base material 48 and a hook material 44 attached to the surface of the base material 48, wherein the respective ends 44a of the hook material are formed with belt-like recessed portions 60 formed by pressing by a prescribed width from the surface side of the hook material 44 toward the side of the base material 48, each recessed portion 60 is formed of a deep recess portion 62 having a deep pressing depth and a shallow recess portion 64 having the pressing depth shallower than the deep recess portion 62, and the deep recess portions 62 and the shallow recess portions 64 are formed at a predetermined repeated pattern.
