Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform superior wireless communication stably, and to expand a communication area in any section of a leaky transmission line of a grading system applied by a first communication terminal. SOLUTION: A mobile communication system is provided with a first communication terminal, applying as an antenna a leaky transmission line in which leaky transmission line parts of different characteristics are connected serially and a second communication terminal for communicating with the first communication terminal. The second communication terminal moves relatively, in parallel along the leaky transmission line. Then, the second communication terminal has a plurality of antenna elements in which the radiation directions of the respective parts of the leaky transmission line in the first communication terminal which oppose each other.
