Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel-cell system capable of measuring water quantity generated in a fuel cell with a well-responsive, stable and accurate measuring step. SOLUTION: The fuel-cell system has a fuel cell 10 generated through an electrochemical reaction on receipt of feeding a reaction gas. The system includes a fuel offgas passage 32 for passing water generated at least at the fuel cell, a water-quantity measuring tank 37 for storing the water passed through the fuel offgas passage, a water-quantity measuring unit 37a for measuring the water quantity stored at the water-quantity measuring tank, and a water-excretion facilitating-gas feeding unit and its passage 41 for feeding a blast of the water-excretion facilitating gas at least at the upperstream side of a protrusion on the inner wall of the passage.
