PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular obstacle indicator of a novel dashboard installation type for eliminating the need for greatly transferring an eye line directed to the outside of a vehicle during check. SOLUTION: The vehicular obstacle indicator I is provided on a vehicle dashboard. The vehicular obstacle indicator I includes a device body 100 for emitting the light of an obstacle information image upward from the upper face, and an image display plate 200 mounted on the device body 100 movably between a non-use position where it is located to cover the upper face of the device body 100 and a use position where it is located on the upper side of the upper face of the device body 100 in inclination to the upper face of the device body 100, for projecting and displaying onto the inside face the light of the obstacle information image emitted from the upper face of the device body 100 when located at the use position.
