Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer having a comparatively low melting point and excellent in solubility to various solvents, to provide organic semiconductor materials and luminescent materials comprising the (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer, and to provide a production method of the (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer. SOLUTION: The (thiophene/phenylene) cooligomer is represented by formula (1) (wherein, R1-R5are each independently H, F, a 1C-16C alkyl group, a 1C-6C alkoxy group or a 1C-6C perfluoroalkyl group, and at least one substituent is F, a 1C-16C alkyl group, a 1-6C alkoxy group or a 1C-6C perfluoroalkyl group; A is H or thienyl group; m represents an integer of 1-3; and when m is 1, A is thienyl group).
