Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biological information measuring instrument which stabilizes enzymatic reaction in a standing period to make the measuring result of the enzymatic reaction and the biological information based on the measuring result highly reliable. SOLUTION: The biological information measuring instrument is provided with an operational amplifying circuit 9 equipped with an operational amplifier 7 having a negative input terminal earthed through a positive input terminal and a reaction part 4, a voltage generation part for applying voltage to the negative input terminal of the operational amplifying circuit 9 through a first resistor 12 and applying voltage to the positive input terminal of the operational amplifying circuit 9 through a second resistor 13 and the standing period for raising the voltage applied to the reaction part 4 to a predetermined level higher than oxidation and reduction potential and holding the voltage applied to the reaction part 4 to the oxidation and reduction potential or below after a biosubstance is supplied to the reaction part 4. After the standing period, the level of a reaction current obtained from the reaction part 4 in a predetermined timing after the applied voltage is again raised to the predetermined level higher than the oxidation and reduction potential is measured.
