Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load distribution device distributing a load by distinguishing whether a server is subject to an overload or not and propriety of its clocking function. SOLUTION: This load distribution device 100 has: a clocking means clocking present time; a response time calculation means periodically transmitting an inspection packet to one of NTP (Network Time Protocol) servers 200 and timestamp servers 300, and calculating a response time when the server responds to the inspection packet; and a load distribution means distributing the load of data on a communication network A based on the response time. Furthermore, the load distribution means distinguishes normality/abnormality of the timestamp server based on a time certificate from the server, and distributes the load to the servers except that server when it is abnormal.
