Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device ensuring a user's convenience and effectively eliminating the waste of electric power of an object and a security problem. SOLUTION: The door handle device 1 provided at a driver's seat door of a vehicle comprises a door handle provided to open/close the driver's seat door and capable of selectively operating each stage of a plurality of preset stages. Various functions such as a light-out function of a room lamp 20 and a closing function of window glass concerning the vehicle are assigned to each stage. The various functions are achieved by a main body CPU 13 controlling the room lamp 20 and a window glass opening/closing control motor 16 following the operation of the door handle.
