Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor functioning as both a reactor for normal-mode and a reactor for common-mode. SOLUTION: The reactor is provided which has a core (2) formed with gaps (24, 25) and single-phase or polyphase conductors (3, 4, 5) disposed to form magnetic paths in the core (2), wherein the gaps (24, 25) of the core (2) are formed in such a manner that the core (2) functions as a closed magnetic path core for a magnetic path generated by at least one common-mode current, and also functions as an open magnetic path core for a magnetic path generated by at least one normal-mode current for all phases.
