Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the rotational speed control of an engine for attaining a starting response as request operation of a driver, while controlling capacity so that a starting clutch is not damaged by burning. SOLUTION: In a braking stopping state where a vehicle speed VSP is less than a stopping determining value, a brake switch is turned on and brake fluid pressure Pbrake is a first preset value Pb1 or more, and after t4 when accelerator opening APO is set to a second preset value APO2 or more by high response stating control request operation, an engine speed is controlled by making a feedback process to be held at a required high response starting control engine speed for realizing this high response starting request, and a fastening capacity reduction control of a starting clutch is performed so that heating of the starting clutch is restrained by this engine speed control. The engine speed control of the former can be performed as the operation request of the driver on a starting response. The fastening capacity reduction control of the starting clutch of the latter can avoid becoming impossible to start a vehicle when the starting clutch is damaged by burning.
