Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass gasification system that can restrain tars in pyrolysis gases from precipitating in a pipe forming a flow channel for the pyrolysis gases. SOLUTION: A power generation system 11 utilizing biomass gasification includes a gasification furnace 13 that heats sawdusts and the like and generates pyrolysis gases, a cooling apparatus 15 for cooling the generated pyrolysis gases and a power generating apparatus 23 for generating electricity using the cooled pyrolysis gases as a fuel gas. In parts just ahead on the upstream side, of a gas filter 30, shut-off valve 31, governor 32, throttle valve 33 and venturi mixer 35 which have larger flow channel resistances than those of other parts in a pipe 27 for supplying a fuel gas to the power generation apparatus 23 from a blower 22, there are wound/attached sheathed heaters to heat the pipe 27 to suppress the precipitation of the tars contained in the fuel gas that passes through the pipe 27.
