Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric element device and a thermoelectric module using the same capable of improving the performance of the thermoelectric element device by relaxing thermal stress in the thermoelectric element device. SOLUTION: There are provided a thermoelectric element configured by a material having a thermoelectric effect, a plurality of high-temperature side substrates installed on one end side of the thermoelectric element and divided so as to be structurally discontinuous, a first electrode installed between the thermoelectric element and the high-temperature side substrate, a low-temperature side substrate installed on the other end side of the thermoelectric element, and a second electrode installed between the thermoelectric element and the low-temperature side substrate.
