Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically operate an oven hood operatively connected with a heating cooker, and to automatically control exhaust capability according to the working condition of the heating cooker. SOLUTION: This oven hood 1 is mounted on the upside of an IH cooker 3, and an exhaust fan motor 5 is constructed in the interior of the oven hood 1. The exhaust fan motor 5 sucks lamp black generated in user's cooking using the IH cooker 3, and discharges the same from a discharge opening 7 to the outdoors. A thermoelectromotive force type temperature sensor 10 is fitted to the oven hood 1, and configured to detect far infrared rays generated by an object through a Fresnel lens 12, and the sensor can detect far infrared rays on a top plate 2 in a wide range. When the user starts the operation of the heating cooker, the thermoelectromotive force type temperature sensor 10 detects a heat source on the heating cooker, and a control part 16 controls the exhaust fan motor 5 based on the detection.
