Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container allowed to be cooked without forming a vent hole prior to heat cooking by a microwave oven, and prevented from being collapsed even if cooled after the cooking. SOLUTION: This packaging container is equipped with a container body 1 which houses a content, and on the opening peripheral edge of which a flange 15 is installed, and a lid body 2 formed of a plastic material which closes the opening. The container body 1 has a first protuberance-like section 11, a second protuberance-like section 12 outside the first protuberance-like section 11, and one or two or more of through-holes 16. In this case, the first protuberance-like section 11 partially protrudes in the circumferential direction on the top surface of the flange 15. The through-hole is formed at the area of the flange which does not protrude between the first protuberance-like section 11 and the second protuberance-like section 12, and vertically penetrates the flange 15. The lid body 2 is annularly heat-sealed in the circumferential direction of the flange 15 through upper ends of the first protuberance-like section and the second protuberance-like section 12 on the top surface of the flange 15, and also, the area between the first protuberance-like section 11 and the second protuberance-like section 12 on the top surface of the flange 15 is not heat-sealed.
