Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact type power supply system having high safety. SOLUTION: The power supply system has a structure in which a fixed body 10 has first power transmission electrode 11a and a second power transmission electrode 11b, a movable body 20 has a first power reception electrode 21a and a second power reception electrode 21b, and power can be supplied from the fixed body 10 to the movable body 20 in a state where the first power reception electrode 21a or the second power reception electrode 21b contacts the first power transmission electrode 11a or the second power transmission electrode 11b. In the power supply system, the fixed body 10 is provided with a control section 15 for applying a test voltage for confirming the normality of power supply to the first power transmission electrode 11a or the second power transmission electrode 11b and applying an operation voltage only when the normality is confirmed.
