Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian crossing entrance which enables the safe and smooth passage of all passersby on a sidewalk, and which can reduce costs. SOLUTION: The first-fourth pedestrian crossing entrances 11-14 comprise an inclined plane 110, sidewall surfaces 111 and 112, and warning blocks 113 and 114 for a visually handicapped person. The inclined plane 110 is inclined downward toward a roadway surface 30 from a sidewalk one 10, and becomes stepless in a boundary section L2 between the sidewalk surface 10 and the roadway one 30. The sidewall surfaces 111 and 112 are erected at both ends in a width direction W orthogonal to the direction M of the inclination of the inclined plane 110. The warning blocks 113 and 114 are arranged near the boundary section L2 in the inclined plane 110. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
