Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile radio device that does not depend on an aperture angle without allowing the characteristic of a capacitive coupling feeding dipole antenna on a housing to be changeable even if the aperture angle is changed. SOLUTION: A foldable mobile radio device 100 has such a structure that a cross-section of a coupling sheet metal 112 of an upper housing 101 being capacitance coupled with a feeding plate 113 of a lower housing 102 is composed of an almost U-shaped tabular element. The length in every direction is not only equal with respect to an outer dimension of the coupling sheet metal 112 but also almost the same as that of the feeding plate 113 of a lower housing 102 opposite thereto. The area of the coupling sheet metal 112 disposed oppositely to the feeding plate 113 if the upper housing 101 opens at an aperture angle of 180° is almost the same as that of the coupling sheet metal 112 disposed oppositely to the feeding plate 113 if the upper housing 101 opens at an aperture angle of 90° and also the capacitance value becomes constant. This results in allowing the mobile radio device to be independent of the aperture angle without allowing the characteristics (impedance gain) of the capacitive coupling feeding dipole antenna on a housing to be changeable even if the aperture angle of the upper housing 101 changes.
