Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device advantageous in improving operability and durability. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 has a case 12 constituting an outer package, and the case 12 has a front face 14 facing the front side. A cover 36 supported by a supporting mechanism 38 is arranged on the front face 14 movably between a blocking position P1 and an opening position P2. The front face 14 has a face 40 for opening/closing that is covered with the cover 36 at the blocking position P1 of the cover 36 and is opened at the opening position P2 of the cover 36, and a face 42 for non-opening/non-closing that is opened at the blocking position P1 of the cover 36 and is covered with the cover 36 at the opening position P2 of the cover 36. The supporting mechanism 38 includes two first abutment members 44C, a first guide face 50C, and a swing regulating mechanism for regulating the swing of the cover 36 using, as the fulcrum, the part where the first abutment members 44C abuts on the first guide face 50C.
