Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction structure of an induction heating coil with which the service life can be extended by preventing the lowering of the insulation caused by the entry of metallic fine particles, such as zinc fume, etc. SOLUTION: When the surface at the side faced to a steel sheet of the induction heating coil 1 for induction-heating the steel sheet is covered with a ceramic cloth 4, a heat-resistant insulating layer with a ceramic surface hardening material 7 containing ceramic short fibers at the induction-coil side and/or the steel sheet side of the ceramic cloth 4 is formed. The ceramic cloth 4 is desirably composed of the ceramic long fibers containing alumina-silica material and no boron, and the ceramic-quality surface hardening material 7 desirably contains the aluminum or the alumina-silica fine particles, the alumina-silica ceramic short fibers, a colloidal silica and an organic adhesive.
