Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector capable of correcting a position of a lead pin folded in L-shaped, and enhancing mounting workability. SOLUTION: A part abutting to a lower end part 24 of a cover member in each tip side pin part 23 of the plurality of L-shaped lead pins 21 is pushed in up to a prescribed position, when storage of an FOT is finished and when the cover member 6 is slide-mounted thereafter onto an FOT storage part 8. That is, positions are corrected when the positions of the tip side pin parts 23 are dispersed. The respective tip side pin parts 23 of the plurality of L-shaped lead pins 21 are arrayed in one transverse line to bring a state capable of carrying out smoothly and surely mounting work onto a circuit board, when the cover member 6 is brought into a locked state to the FOT storage part 8.
