Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing material comprising Ti and Zr, which is excellent in both strength and corrosion resistance even without being incorporated with Ni, and has satisfactory biocompatibility. SOLUTION: The brazing material has a composition comprising, by mass, 10 to 30% Cu and 5 to 20% Co, respectively, and the balance ≥30% Ti and ≥20% Zr with inevitable impurities, and in which the total of Ti and Zr is controlled to 60 to 80%.
